Key Responsibilities

Omnichannel Category Leadership & Digital Shelf Optimization

• Develop and implement omnichannel category growth strategies for Amazon & Last Mile.
• Optimize product assortment and pack architecture for Amazon’s e-commerce landscape.
• Leverage digital shelf analytics to improve conversion rates, Buy Box ownership, and Share of Search.
• Influence total retail sales strategies, ensuring online insights enhance offline performance.

Retailer & Internal Collaboration

• Serve as a thought leader for Amazon category management, driving business growth.
• Provide insights for Joint Business Planning (JBP) discussions with Amazon and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Brand, and Supply Chain to ensure category strategies align with Amazon’s evolving requirements.
• Work closely with Amazon category managers, positioning the company as a leading category partner.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Performance Optimization

• Utilize data analytics tools such as Nielsen, IRI, and Amazon-specific platforms.
• Monitor and optimize key KPIs, including ACV Weighted Distribution, Digital Share of Shelf, Conversion Rates, and Buy Box Metrics.
• Deliver actionable insights to maximize category growth and consumer engagement.

Thought Leadership & Internal Capability Building

• Establish the company as an Omnichannel Category Captain, aligning category recommendations with Amazon’s goals.
• Best practices for Amazon/Omni category management can be taught to internal teams.
• Support internal initiatives to scale digital-first strategies across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in category leadership within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry.
• Expertise in Amazon Vendor Central, Seller Central, and digital commerce platforms.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and analytics tools.
• Proven ability to develop and execute category growth strategies in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to present compelling, insight-driven strategies to executive stakeholders and Amazon category managers.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills, working across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Amazon-specific platforms and eCommerce category management.
