Python Developer (Full-Time)
Coinbase is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team in Buffalo. As a senior-level developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative solutions for our platform. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers, contributing to our mission of building secure and scalable systems for the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Compose spotless, viable, and effective code sticking to best practices.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for growing user demands.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production systems.
• Execute hearty safety efforts to safeguard delicate information and forestall weaknesses.
• Stay updated on emerging Python technologies and apply them to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• Lone ranger’s or alternately Graduate degree in Software engineering, Programming, or a connected field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Python Developer in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid mastery in Python systems like Django, Jar, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with data sets (SQL and NoSQL) and information displaying.
• Proficiency in cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and debugging expertise.

Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency platforms or financial systems is a plus.
• Active involvement in CI/Cd pipelines and form control frameworks (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of security best practices in software development.
• Capacity to coach junior engineers and lead specialized conversations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with distributed teams.
