Website Designer (Full-Time)
Deel is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer to join our team in Los Angeles. This full-time position is perfect for both junior (1–2 years of experience) and middle-level professionals (3–5 years of experience) who have a strong eye for design and a passion for creating user-friendly and visually appealing websites. You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining high-quality websites that enhance user engagement and brand presence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and user-friendly websites.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure design alignment with brand guidelines.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to demonstrate website concepts.
• Optimize website layouts for mobile and desktop responsiveness.
• Implement creative solutions to enhance user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
• Monitor website performance and make improvements to functionality, speed, and usability.
• Stay updated with design trends and tools to produce innovative designs.
• Conduct regular website audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

For Junior Level (1–2 Years Experience)

• A degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative website designs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take constructive feedback.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

For Middle Level (3–5 Years Experience)

• Proven experience as a Website Designer with a solid portfolio.
• Advanced knowledge of web development tools and frameworks.
• Experience in creating responsive and SEO-optimized websites.
• Experience with CMS stages like WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards.
• Capacity to lead configuration tasks and guide junior colleagues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with animation and motion graphics.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for web design.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Ability to design e-commerce websites or landing pages.
